I know I’m late but i finally found some time to take a serious listen to Jean Grae’s 5 track offering #5. I did a little skip & scan when it first came out, but now that I’ve done a full play no jump stream of this leisurely melodic concoction, i must say it’s pretty creative and true to Grae’s alternative nature. She pulled a switchblade on this one, cut the rap and hit the R&B switchboard instead. Not many rap artist can whip up an innovative bedroom R&B EP worth listening to…so peep it…my favorite cuts are torn between Nothing and So Glad it’s over~
