Rayana Jay – Morning After

For your edgy R&B late night exotic vibes, Check out Rayana Jay’s latest release, The Morning After, which is the follow up to Rayana’s 2016 release Sorry About Last Night. .. “The project includes a lone feature from Maryland rapper Innanet James, and production from ROMderful (Soulection), Mikos Da Gawd, Elujay, Kev Choice, The Kount (Fete Records), and more.  While Sorry About Last Night ultimately detailed the turmoil of a break-up, Morning After is the clarity that comes after. Miles Bonny – Let It Out EP

Delighted to hear this new Miles Bonny EP! Let it Out is short but sweet and filled with a dreamy batch of savory treats for your mood based groove. “The Let It Out EP, released on Brooklyn’s Bastard Jazz Recordings, acts as the culmination of such an intimate and organic journey. Recorded by Miles in Kansas City during a time he was experiencing the oft-turbulent tasks of true adulthood, the record focus on the life of a young father, underpinned by how we often bottle up difficult emotions and creativity when the pressures of today’s complicated world reach fever pitch. Brimming with emotive, intimate lyrics from Miles spread amidst Ta-Ku’s soul-drenched beat work and syrupy future grooves, the EP will hit close to home for anyone whose daily lives calls for a much needed dose of personal reflection and chilled-out decompression. ”

Diggs Duke – Gravity

One of my favorite musicians, in the future fusion soul jazz world, Diggs Duke recently re-released this project… “This debut EP was originally released exclusively on Bandcamp in early December 2011. It has been enhanced here with the addition of several songs from “Black Gold,” which was released later that month. Also included in this Special Edition is the first song ever released by Diggs Duke, entitled “Last Night.”

Gnash – Belong ft. Denm

Stumbled across this little jewel while new music surfing through twitter (yes i surf there) and i don’t think i have ever heard of Gnash or Denm before this….(I don’t really listen to the radio but maybe they play it there)….anyway… i also discovered that Denm recently signed with Roc Nation,  so more good music discoveries should be in the works!
